WEAPON-X developed the PERFECT lowering spring for your 2016+ Cadillac CTS V. They are a progressive spring, that is softer on top for daily driving, and over 30% stiffer down low to keep the car firmly planted in the corners. They're designed and manufactured by one of the world's leading spring manufacturers and like all of our products, these are proudly MADE IN THE USA! When we searched for a vendor, we didn't just want to work with any low rider spring manufacturer that knew nothing about performance. We did our homework and went to one that was born and raised in the Motorsports industry.
Don't just take our word for it though! They're utilized by championship winning teams world wide- NASCAR Nextel Cup, Formula One, Indy Racing League, SCCA, NASCAR Busch series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Endurance Sports Cars, and more! Their components are a part of winning from Late Models to Nextel Cup"...Formula Ford to Formula One and have been ran on every Indianapolis 500 winner since 1965!
The skinny on the OEM springs:
As you can see, they're a linear spring, which means you get the same damping rate from the top of the spring to the bottom of the spring. The front has only 220 lb/in spring rate and the rear springs have a 340 lb/in spring rate.
